The Dutch architecture firm OMA, founded by Rem Koolhaas, has partnered with NH Hotel Group and developer COD to build a 650-room hotel—the largest in the Netherlands. The Nhow Amsterdam RAI will be located on the site of the Amsterdam RAI convention and exhibition center in the Zuidas business district.
With its stacked-box exterior, the 299-foot-tall structure will be a bold addition to Amsterdam's skyline. The hotel will be home to a sculpture garden, restaurant, bar, and spa, as well as a live television studio, which brought about the building’s name: On Air. Construction will commence in mid-2016.
