On Tuesday Architectural Digest partnered with Scavolini at its New York showroom to celebrate the release of Richard Mishaan’s new book, Artfully Modern (The Monacelli Press, $65). The AD100 designer was on hand to personally inscribe books to attendees, including Linda Fargo, Brian Sawyer, Robert Verdi, and Björn Wallander, while hors d’oeuvres and wines by Pasanella & Son were served. The colorful monograph surveys Mishaan’s impressive work over the past five years, including his own homes in Manhattan and Cartagena, Colombia, as well as the presidential suite at the St. Regis hotel in New York.
